When it comes to Maternity Clothes and Pregnancy bits and bobs its hard to know what and when is the right time to buy.
Us ladies like to be able to stay in our own clothes for as long as possible without having to purchase a new wardrobe full of Maternity Clothes. But when comfort is calling, usually around the four month mark, and baby bump is expanding, its time to take the plunge and treat yourself to a few Maternity staples. No need for a full wardrobe but definitely a couple of classic pieces will see you through and beyond.
But what about those in between months ? The early months where your bra is feeling just a little tight and uncomfortable and the jeans or trousers wont button or zip up (so we wander around with the button undone wearing long tops and jumpers )

Bra Extension
Often used as a quick fix, bra extenders are small pieces of fabric with hook and eye closures that attach to your current bra to extend the width of the band.They normally come in 1, 2, 3 and 4 hook so can fit almost all bras. This bra hack can come in handy when you need just a little more room in your own bra before you purchase your maternity bras. They are a cheap and easy quick fit.
Bra extensions can elongate the band if the band feels tight or provide more hook options if you find yourself between band sizes, they are a perfect part time fix for early stage pregnancy but it is important to get properly measured for your maternity bra as the breast size can change and get heavy. An extension will change the back of a bra for example from a 34″ to 36″.
But remember there’s nothing like a bra that fits you properly so make sure you get measure and buy at least one good Maternity Bra. We have plenty to choose from instore and here online (if you know your size).
